A Weakest opinion for a strongest debate

Video: https://youtu.be/YEgN8piTg8A

I started this post to socially share my opinion around the video but after seeing its sheer size I thought to blog it instead. Thank you Tharoor saheb for rejuvenating my almost dead blog.

He spoke of quite well, which to all in principle I agree; whether its usage of the slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ as a litmus test for being nationalist or charging people with sedition for speaking up their mind. But then even the last government, quite like the present one, arrested people for speaking up their mind on social media; they were the creators of barbaric article 66A. Or, if he would have forgotten things of distant past than in Maharashtra it wasn’t any right wing party but his very own Congress which demanded suspension of the MLA.

All I can say that he is a good politician in a wrong party, as he tries to show. Moreover, it is astonishing to see BJP getting pushed to the wrong side of the debate. The debate might have been orchestrated to trap a hardworking PM but the onus to fall in it could be attributed to less on skillset of the opposition and more to his grossly agitated party. As Tavleen Singh jee mentioned in some of her articles that the biggest challenge for the government isn’t from across the benches in parliament but from the one’s sitting alongside. There seems a no dead-end to these high decibel shows wherein only the theme gets transformed from ghar wapsi to intolerance to nowadays azaadi.

In 2014 people of this country realized that the socialism, which was promoted since our independence, won’t lead us to a sustainable developed future and thus gave a whooping majority to Modi. Socialism of past isn’t capable in providing us good education, quality healthcare, respectable jobs, and thus high standard of living. The government must see that the present hue and cry isn’t against the capitalist attitude but a protest against the crony capitalism or licensed capitalism, which have trapped the reform of liberalisation post 90s. Sadly, the present government is allocating more funds to such old practices instead of banishing them completely. Time is passing fast and public anger from economic slowdown is increasing, which could prove to be troublesome going further.

By the way, Tharoor saheb is a master orator. Also listen to the student who says that Congress or BJP or in that case all other political parties are different only in name but same in appearance. He might have took Tharoor saheb statement seriously where he says that student life is a time to stand for your convictions, transported by the passion of your beliefs, and sometime entertain extreme ideas of which some you may outpour.

I love my country! Vande Matram.

Let not be a fool

We were having lunch together last week when a colleague of mine said that he feels everyone in this world, knowingly or unknowingly, makes every other person a fool. In school, we have been made to work on nuisance of integration-differentiation when in life it never helped. Not just in academics but in every other field- be it social, political, career, or religion, we are thought to be an easy prey who can be lured by misleading facts which are thought to be sacrosanct.

Why the social structure is so methodical? Join a school at 3, than college at 17, start working at 22, get married at 25, have kids at 28 & retire after 60? Is democracy only about electing leaders who creates rules which sets him apart from the crowd? And, why do we all fight for our religion when all these years in school we have been told that all Gods are same? Also going by the clerics God created us all, so do we need to save the Creator who created us all? Aren’t we all are here being made fools?

There could be a different dimension to it too wherein we fool the other person who tries to fool us by showing that we have accepted his beliefs which we haven’t have. We could do this for various reasons- probably for not hurting the other person, or for not stretching the fact too far. Also, it could be because we don’t have any other options other than to be made fool.

Is gyan and vigyan the same? Or in simpler words education and knowledge comparable? If they are than why vigyan is evolving and not fixed with its finding. Gyan is like water in the sea- stationery, while vigyan like river moves around different territories to join the sea in the end- as ultimate truth. When education is a source to get acquaint with knowledge than why it becomes paramount while judging others?

Might be this is how the world moves & would move, but what can an informed fool do? Either he could sit back, follow the fool chakra, & continue getting fool or he could take a stand of not getting fooled in future. Quite interestingly, its all completely black and white i.e. either you are a party to being fooled or you aren’t with nothing left to be grey. So will I, even after knowing that all this years I have been made a fool, continue to be made a fool remains a question? To jump out from this chakravyuh you not only need skill-set of Arjuna but also mentor-ship of Krishna.

You may find that I have gone mad & writing this absurd post- but wait, if that has been your learning than you are still entangled in the chakravyuh. There’s a lot to know in this world, a lot to learn and more to unlearn.

Will be back again!

Past Midnight

Moving down the lanes,
I see her laughing,
Might not be a laugh… but just a smirk.
Whatever, it was… it stuck me!

Heart isn’t bleeding… it isn’t paining either,
Then why I am penning the moment.
Or, the memories… far apart live by your side
When you pen down your emotions!

Moving again, this Weakest LINK moves to new lanes…
Might some new face will embrace my path…
And, will allure me to her laugh!

Will-o'-The-Wisp

We sing on HIS music
http://morerealitymusings.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/the_matrix_wwwdan_dareorg.jpg
Dance on HIS tune
Walk on HIS road
& Laugh on HIS jokes

We live-in between infinity
Surrounded by lies
With flying black holes
And scavenging eyes

There isn’t any time
It’s all illusory
There isn’t any play
It’s all delusory

The good isn't sacrosanct
And, the bad pernicious
With truth beguiling
And, relations struggling

Awaken the mystic soul
Don’t let it sleep
Nights may not be long
And, days may not be strong.
